Green Glory (Femina January 1, 2005)

She is: Radhika Anand of 'Plantology', who turns out exquisite terrariums that go from dining tables bases, coffee tables to all shapes and sizes. For the unintiated, terrariums are plants grown in glass containers from bottles to what-have-you that require minimum fuss.

Her asset: Obviously her green fingers. The always besotted with greenery Radhika believes she inherited the love for greenery from her father. So, after world totting with her corporate husband - and always surprisingly teaching all along - it was inevitable that she would master the art of terrarium making. For the last eight years, she has been making them for major hotels, corporate houses and homes. Presently her creations are retailed from The Next Shop in the Capital.

Thriving on: The Kitchen Gardens Association member would like to, "probably expand like ferns and am looking to having different outlets." However, with her insistence on perfection and executing everything herself, Radhika is practical enough to accept that she has to grow gradually. And besides, she admits, "I can't market my products, let people come and take them." And takers?
